Hello Everyone! Im new around here from Australia! I am a Collector Of Green Uranium Glass! I picked this one up a while ago for 1.00 at a Garage sale, It is badly chipped too the face! I have never found a maker or a location of where this piece comes from. Any Idea's?

It resembles a Fenton Peacock bookend from the early 30s, however I simply cannot see enough detail with all the other glass surrounding it to say for certain.

Took it out for some photography :) Hope this will help with the ID.

To me its a Fenton Peacock bookend, however you probably need to wait until James Measell (Fenton Guru) checks in. Fenton made from molds they purchased from companies who went out of business so yours might be an original from an unknown company mold Fenton purchased. It is circa 1935 & these are considered more that just scarce...bordering on rare. I've had one pair in 38 years of buying glass here in the U.S. & I've never seen another one in person until yours popped up. Too bad its damaged, but still if its Fenton its something that just doesn't pop up every day as you cannot even find a photo of one outside reference books. Ken

Maybe if a Mod adds the word Fenton? in your title it would catch Jame's eye. Ken

It is indeed the Fenton Peacock bookend. rare item, typically has some damage.

Well thats good news that its a Rare piece. My other question is Should it have a Fenton logo on it somewhere? As I cannot find one. ???

It's too early for an impressed logo; it would have had a label. The glass itself was marked from 1970 http://www.fentonartglass.com/logos.asp
