Title: Czech Scent Bottle... - ID = Curt Schlevogt 'Ingrid'
Post by: Tinker-Taylor on September 14, 2009, 02:55:24 PM
Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knew this Czech factory, what period the bottle dates from and maybe the name of the scent it was used for?

(Not asking much then... :))

It stands around 4.5" high, if that helps...

Thanks in advance,
Stu.

PS.  They're not scraches in the front but the reflection of the table it's stood upon.

Looks like old Curt Schlevogth piece from 30ties. Made in Czechoslovakia, North Bohemia, Jablonec nad Nisou (Gablonz).
Collection Ingrid.

Jade glass pieces had been fabricated also after WWII in Jablonec and after 1990 in many factories or in country. Some copies are excellent, some of them very poor. Some more details you can find at www.desna-glass.cz.

I forgot to mention that the screw-top stopper has a thin glass tube attached.

I've just realised what that's for...

OK, excuse my stupidity.   :-[
