Title: Help on Strombergshyttan vase markings please

Hi All,

I recently purchased this wee vase by Stombergshyttan, its a lovely little vase with an hand engraved deer. It is marked to the base but I cant find much info on what the marks mean. I'm guessing they will indicate the engraver and pattern, possibly a date. Please help if you can.

Hi

B is the Stromberg code for vase and 979 is the production number, which was sequential over a number of years. Early 1960's for this piece.  I'm not sure of the last set of numbers. That some have that set, many don't.

Thanks David for all the info, I really appreciate it. It seems for once the seller was telling the truth when he told me it had some age!!
