This nice vase (height 15 cm) has a greyish-green colour with some orange and pink towards the rim; polished and bevelled base.
I have no doubt that it is Czech, but would like to know who made it...
I am leaning towards Novy Bor because of the colours, but wouldn't exclude Skrdlovice (I guess Robert may exclude it at once :))
Thanks!
Michael

I agree -- no doubt Czech and certainly nice. :) Good find, Michael!

Michael, I too would look towards "Novy Bor." I think these were made at at the Crystalex complex, which I think may sometimes have a Borocrystal label.... like other pieces you have recently posted.... Czech glass history can be very complicated... none of us knows everything... one of the joys of learning.... hopefully Jindrich can add a little more if he sees the post.... another nice piece for your collection,
Robert (bOBA)

Thanks, Robert!
I see quite a lot of these Novy Bor / Borocrystal vases here (all sorts of colours, some with engraved decoration), so it seems that it has been a successful range. In Dusan's web gallery are many different ones in the Novy Bor section, one very similar to mine.
Funny that there is no information in CGR...
When I picked mine up I was thinking Skrdlovice first, because of the size (smaller than the ones I usually see), and the solid green colour.
Still a nice Czech vase! :)
