Here is an album of some glass my father bought in 1986 from the London Glassblowing Workshop.

Cheers guys, yes the old geezer has a good eye. He said he bought quite a few because "next year they will be making it in some other style that I won't like".  He hasn't bought any since, maybe he was prescient.

Those of you with a sensitive disposition don't read on. I think he has superglued the stopper into the Siddy Langley perfume bottle. To stop it falling out apparently. ::)

They are both insanely GORGEOUS! If I had to choose it would be Siddy's but I would rather not chose.  :hiclp: :hiclp: :hiclp: :hiclp: :hiclp: :hiclp: :chky: :chky: :chky: :chky: :chky: :chky: :chky:

I was thinking of starting a thread on this and then remembered John's thread.
Mine is only one piece,  a few photos, and not quite as early I don't think, but (imho) very beautiful
I believe it is by Paul Barcroft for Hothouse glass (so sometime between 1987 and 1993 ish), iridescent peloton studio glass.  It's the most tactile piece I own and feels like silk to touch.

Ahem.... :pb:

At least two of the pieces in the album are dated 1989 so unless my old man has invented time travel without telling anyone he bought them in 1989 not 1986.
