Cheers guys, yes the old geezer has a good eye. He said he bought quite a few because "next year they will be making it in some other style that I won't like". He hasn't bought any since, maybe he was prescient.
Those of you with a sensitive disposition don't read on. I think he has superglued the stopper into the Siddy Langley perfume bottle. To stop it falling out apparently. ::)

I was thinking of starting a thread on this and then remembered John's thread.
Mine is only one piece, a few photos, and not quite as early I don't think, but (imho) very beautiful
I believe it is by Paul Barcroft for Hothouse glass (so sometime between 1987 and 1993 ish), iridescent peloton studio glass. It's the most tactile piece I own and feels like silk to touch.

At least two of the pieces in the album are dated 1989 so unless my old man has invented time travel without telling anyone he bought them in 1989 not 1986.
