Title: A rather nice Cakestand - ID = Sowerby Tyneside
Post by: dinklepip on March 29, 2008, 04:14:54 PM
lovely kingfisher blue cakestand.  Reg number relates to the base only I suspect.  No idea on maker, could it be American depression piece?

I don't think we've found the maker of this one yet Jen. I have the same glass part on a plain metal base: http://yobunny.org.uk/gallery1/displayimage.php?pos=-6 and I know we've discussed them before on the board as someone (TC I think?) has a smaller bowl in this pattern. I'll see if I can find the earlier topic for you.
