I have a question regarding Andre Hunnebelle & his glass. I was fortunate enough to stumble on the attached piece, Deco vase in color so its very late 20s to early 30s, 11 ½” height, 5” diameter, markings totally correct being “A HUNNEBELL” then in a semi circle very faint on the bottom it reads “Made in France” followed by “Moselle et R Congeville” however these bottom markings are in most cases notoriously faint to the point of being very difficult to decipher. After researching multiple sites I know who made his molds, who made the glass, his partner, etc.
What I cannot get over is the lack of examples, especially the use of color later, Even the straight satin & opalescent piece examples are not exactly numerous so my question, is Hunnebelle simply a bit scarce & was production very light in terms of numbers? Now I know this is a small private manufacturer, however I am just surprised so few (in numbers) examples are out there. Comments appreciated, Thanks.

Is the spelling actually HUNEBELLE on the vase?
It's just you appear to have spelled it two different ways, one in the title of the thread and another in the body of text and neither are the same as on the vase?
Pretty colour and vase btw.
This site appears to have many examples (the owner appears to have a huge collection). Hopefully someone will be able to help with the colour. There are many different coloured versions of his vases on there, and one at least described as 'Patine carmin' which appears to be pink.

Moselle probably should read 'Modèle'.
It only lasted from the mid 20ies to roughly 1935, and closed in 1938...perhaps you are already aware of this but maybe that explains why there's so little out there.

Thank you both for your replies. Yes its Hunebelle on the vase...on conflicting websites there are two spellings. Same with the 'Modèle' spelling. How I missed the one site that shows many styles & examples I have no explanation other than old age (me). I thought the reason behind the somewhat absence in number of examples might be explained due to the relatively short 11 year span that the glass was produced & it appears it might be the case or at least partially. Unbelievably I paid under $10 for this just last week & yes this is the truth & no it was not in any "thrift" simply a large mall were the dealer has close to 20 vases sitting in the floor of their booth. Thanks again. Ken

Good find Ken.
I had a look at the French online library (no copyright mentioned) and came across a magazine dated July 1927 and your vase is in it. It is called 'Bridge'.

Hi,
The text on the bottom of the vase is generally: "Mod de Dep., de A. Hunebelle & R. Cogneville. (Mod Dep = trademark)
