Hello,
I was watching this on ebay and am curious about the C Cane. I know that Perthshire did alphbetical canes but this doesn't look Perthshire to me. It's not a Clichy and that's where my knowledge of C canes ends.
Who else used a central C cane?

It's not a Clichy. It does look like a Scottish made weight, but the experts will be able to help you.

strathearn, has someone put this on here somewhere?

Not a C, just looks like it.

I'm curious about something about this auction. Why is the seller, who, by the eBay information and his/her shipping rates, is registered in the U.K., listing an item on eBay.au, which is the Australian eBay site? And then if one wins, what does one pay for the item: The U.K. price, or the Australian price, which would then be converted into - in my case - the U.S.A. price?
Is it possible the seller mistakenly opened the Australian site - which frankly, seems unlikely, or has figured something regarding currency conversion that I can't quite seem to fathom?

I think that is because I logged in via ebay Australia as that's where I am from. The link I posted was to the auction via ebay Australia.
The price is in italics and that means that it is converted to $AU for my information. If you log in via the US ebay and put that item number into the search engine, it will take you to the auction but convert the price to $US.

The poster just posted a link to their local australian ebay, try changing the au in the url to .co.uk
