Me again!
Have had this bottle for about 30 years. I grew up in Bristol and assume it's Bristol glass. The base (pictured) reads 9A5 12643. The body is blown but where it starts to curve at the top seems to be moulded in 2 pieces. It is also etched near the top: 11 (over) 1-14.
Any ideas?
Very grateful for your knowledge.

It is a machine made bottle and could come from anywhere. It is likely the scratched mark was added by the user,

Oh dear, never mind. Thanks anyway.

Thanks Frank
Do you know what it might have contained? It's a huge bottle-would it have been corked?

seems a storage bottle for use in pharmacies made on a semi-automatic machine, so dating from around the turn of the century 19/20. Probably for aqua dest. or for meth.alc. or similar bulky liquid, and yes it would have been closed with a cork.
