Toothpick holder with partial label - looks like A.V.E.M. - partial rubbed label to base

I don't recognize the label, but yes, your glass looks like AVeM. I saw an AVeM piece the other day with a similar label, but I don't know if it is unique to them. Some of these old paper labels were used for glass from several furnaces.

Some people may comment that your vase has a base that is not completely polished, so is not Murano. I've noticed that many of the AVeM tutti frutti pieces do not have the final step of polishing. I wonder if it was because they were trying to get many made and shipped, so skipped a step. Or if they just decided the shiny bottom was not necessary.

It is an AVeM label. AVeM can be sloppy at times, unpolished bases, marks in the glass, ash in the glass. Due to the handmade nature. As to why they sold pieces like this, who knows  :huh:
