Title: Uranium sommerso bull
Post by: chuggy on April 23, 2006, 04:15:06 PM
Picked this up today and boy does it glow. Any thoughts on maker, I've seen the modern ones, and I'm sure this isn't, the tail and horns are markedly different. I must admit to leaning towards either Salviati or Da Ros at Cenedese, but open to other suggestions.

Me too and would make the same observations.

I agree that Da Ros had a penchent for unusual colour combinations esp using oddly tinted casing layer but the hot working / modelling on this doesn't seem fine enough for Cenedese ....I could be wrong.

I tend to agree, I'm pretty sure it's Salviati, it was just the uranium and blood red combination that made me think of Da Ros as a possibility.
