Title: A Fenton (?) carnival puzzle ID = Dugan "Maple Leaf" footed berry bowl
Post by: Lustrousstone on February 18, 2006, 07:45:06 PM
I seem to be developing a collection of carnival glass! Today's finds include a Sowerby African Shield WITH wire insert!

And a small footed compote/berry bowl. I have identified two of the pattern elements as probably Fenton, but that's as far as I've got. The base of the interior has peacock tail, the outside has scale band and the base has scales with small serrated-edge leaves on top. The stem has three pseudo legs. Any ideas please Glen.

Original images gone. Here's David Doty's entry for the pattern: http://www.ddoty.com/mapleleaf.html
