Hi, have just received this Caithness bottle vase, which i believe to be from the original Art Nouveau range rather than the later Art Deco range. I have one other for comparison (picture also attached) (which I know is Art Nouveau because I bought it in its original box) but I expect because of the different shapes the decoration is completely different. Can anyone confirm that this blue one is Art Nouveau please?
It stands 7 inches or 17.5 cm tall, and is 4 inches or 10 cm across its widest part. Has reasonable wear to base. A classic Caithness shape, and also labelled with the 1980's label.
Are these rather scarce? I haven't seen any others except for the two I have, and there are no photos of them in Mark Hills book either.

Thanks Carolyn, I think so too. I have several of the later Art Deco range and they are not a patch on these two. I love the way the designs fit the shape of the vases so well !

Now the holidays are done can I give this a "bump" please.
Does anyone have any pieces or know anything more about the Caithness Art Nouveau range?
Thanks
