Title: IMPERIAL GLASS PATTERN HELP
Post by: GLASSMAN on April 25, 2005, 10:36:19 AM
Hi Folks,
My first post and first try and pic listing so here goes.

This handled bowl has the Imperial Mark for 1913, from info on the internet I undertand this mark changed slightly in 1914 so presumably i can date this to 1913?
My main query is the pattern name.  Whilst in the shape of diamonds, they are made up of triangles and the nearest description I can find is Diamond Block but this is dated (where i found it on the net) as 1920/1930.
Any ideas please. Sorry for poor pic, my camera is on the blink so this is a scan of the inside.
Thanks in anticipation
Rod

The pattern name is Mt. Vernon but I don't think it is that old.  However, I don't have my reference books with me to check.
