Title: Signature help needed.

Thanks in advance if anyone can help me with this signature. I think the year is 1943. This vase is so clear...pure? it looks like its a very very pale blue. It is 7.5cm high, 7cm across one side, 7.5cm the other side. Heavy with polished smooth base.

Hi Selina,
The signature says Strombergshyttan, a Swedish glass works.

Thank you Della! That was super fast. I will look them up and find out some info. Make sure the year is correct etc

that is not a year it is a model number

Hi Trudy,
The numbering will be a code. I don't think that they dated their pieces. Hopefully Ivo or Bill Geary will be able to give you some better information.

Ok, thanks..I guess you just automatically think date when it starts with the 19... :-\

It starts with B for Blomvase or flower vase.

Oh geez  :-[ Think I'll go make that optometrist appoinment now... no wonder I have no hope of deciphering signatures.
