Title: Yellow Glass Mugs - ID = Erik Hoglund, for Boda
Post by: WTribe on July 12, 2018, 12:57:03 PM
Can anyone identify the maker of these mugs.  I have unwrapped two in a box that has been in storage for about 20 years and think they must be Scandinavian, but cannot find the manufacturer.  I have added two pics, one of the mug and one of the signature found on the bottom of each.  The mugs stand about 4.5" tall with a diameter of about 3.5'.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Definitely Boda and Erik Hoglund, nice in the opaque colour variations too.

Looks like a candlestick in his other hand, might be this design.

What fascinating images, thanks for sharing the extra bit with the human touch, John.
I have to confess, i did think he was wearing bright blue nail polish before I enlarged the pic.
Failing eyesight can lead to some very confusing, sometimes even amusing,  interpretations of things. ;D

I want to thank you all for the information and assistance in identifying these mugs or tankards.  I  have seen the pics of the yellow with blue handled mugs, but have not been successful in finding any pics of the solid yellow mugs, such as I have, so perhaps these are more rare?
