Title: id of this small blue vase please

There is a signature, but i do not know whos or what is says, do any of you know please. I can only make out 87 at the end. thanks for looking anyway.

Try for a second shot of the signature from a shallow angle - it means the "base" reflects light but the writing appears black.  The benefit is that the colours of the glass and any distortions are not in the photo  (see example appended).  The internal colours made the base quite unreadable but using the "bounce" makes it reasonable.

Initial guess is "K Sod......" or "K God.....".  No Australians I know of with a name like either.  Suspect may be American because of where it is signed.
