Title: Help with ID
Post by: mildawg on June 22, 2011, 01:27:44 AM
Hello all,  I have browsed the boards for some time and now need a little help.  I do not typically collect millefiori weights, so I can do not have any idea as to who could have made this weight.  I am in the beginning stages of learning about millefiori weights.  Your help is much apprecriated.  A few details...the weight is approx 2.5 inches wide and 2 inches tall.  The bottom is perfectly flat and polished and the 4+1 "windows" are flat, not concaved. The dark base is appears to be a dark purple.  Colors are predominately weight with some light pink and blue.  I have tried to capture the best details in the pics.  Thanks in adavnce.

OK. my pics are way to big.  Will repost them later. Sorry

The canes look like Pairpoint Glass in Sagamore, Massachusetts (US) on Cape Cod.

Thanks Allan.  Is there anything that may date it?

I am leaning towards pairpoint as there were a few other weights in the collection that appear to be pairpoint.
