Title: HAND BLOWN GLASS CARAFE
Post by: yulia on June 24, 2014, 05:33:11 PM
hi!

I bought very interesting glass carafe. it looks hand blown. there is a mark on the bottom, but I can't get any information, and it looks like bullicante for me. it is rather heavy. beautiful stopper! 12"H without stopper.
what can you tell me about this carafe?

thank you!

It's only been a couple of days. Give the folk who might know time to get here - not everybody comes in every day. :)
I'm clueless. There is a maker, Uredale Glass, whose name begins with a U (surprise surprise), but I don't know if this is their mark you have on the base.

You might try having a bit of a search here for Uredale glass? I think Lustrousstone knows something about them. I think she's busy elsewere right now.
I did google images, but didn't come up with anything that showed a mark.
They're in Yorkshire, England, and I don't think your decanter is incompatible with their output.

Found their website. It's not the right mark. So I'm wrong. Again. ::)
