Must be getting slow in my old age Anne ( i blame the tablets lol ) looked on the trinket site never thought to look at the mysteries. Should imagine it would have had two smaller pots and one larger originally. Its one of those i like less is more, design wise.

Pink frosted set in accord with the ringholder shown as from Anne’s Mystery Set 12 at
http://www.glasstrinketsets.com/cms15/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=163:mystery-set-12&catid=28:mysteries&Itemid=52

Pamela shows a similar set in pale yellow-green uranium frosted glass at

Any ideas as to ID yet?

For info, quoting a post by Simba which suggests this set could be by Schwepnitz and I agree it certainly looks possible.

Haha well done Anne....talking of Schwepnitz I think I have further confirmation that mystery set #012 is by Schwepnitz and called Rippen see catalogue picture of candlestick here http://www.glas-musterbuch.de/Schwepnitz-1936.131+B6YmFja1BJRD0xMzEmcHJvZHVjdElEPTU2OTEmcGlkX3Byb2R1Y3Q9MTMxJmRldGFpbD0_.0.html
which looks like one in you pjcs of mystery set 012 http://www.glasstrinketsets.com/Gallery/thumbnails.php?album=15
that along with the similarity of the mystery tray and the Schwepnitz divided tray http://www.glas-musterbuch.de/Schwepnitz-1936.131+B6YmFja1BJRD0xMzEmcHJvZHVjdElEPTU2OTcmcGlkX3Byb2R1Y3Q9MTMxJmRldGFpbD0_.0.html
what do you think ????

The Schwepnitz candlestick is different to mystery set 12 - the one with the set has a flange below the cup, but Rippen hasn't that, nor does it appear to have the horizontal bands on the stem that m/s #12 has?  The resemblance between the set tray and the Schwepnitz divided tray are striking though.

Hmm, the pics on this thread have no flange (same as the catalogue image) and the pink set here is on the GTS Mystery 12 page. So actually both types of candlestick with and without flange are on GTS Mystery Set 12 page. Perhaps they updated the candlestick at some point?

Well-spotted Jayne, I'd missed the two types of candlestick... mind you it was very late and rather windy when I was looking last night, both of which tends to turn my brain to mush.  (It's even windier tonight! That Ophelia is creating havoc already.)
