While I do not know the manufacturer (I do not know if anyone does) they are Pre-WWII (30's) German. The glass figurine came on several bases & in very small lettering hidden in the bottom base (usually covered by the metal holder fixing the figurine to the base) is the single word Germany. I have a pair on a different base.  Ken

I've looked, and on the back where the base connects to the lamp, I see the word "Copyright". I'm assuming there is more written under the metal. There is felt on the base - should I tear it off and see if I can remove the figurine to see what else it says? Do yours also say "copyright"?

The figurine screws into the base. It is also held there by a piece of wire. I can't get the whole thing out, but it doesn't look like it says anything other than Copyright.
