Hello Everyone and Good Day to all:
I'm new to this board and have been lurking and learning from all of the post for sometime now. I'm from the USA, and very seldom do I get my hands on any foreign glass. I was told of this sight on the Ebay Glass Chat Room. I spend a large majority of my time in that room learning and helping when I can.
The reason that I'm finally posting a thread to this board is I have acquired 2 canary (Vaseline) glass pressed or EAPG sauce, berry or nut dishes... I have been searching for a maker for almost 3 months now and a lady from Austraila who post regularly on our board suggested that they may be by Brockowitz of Germany... Here is a link of my unknowns page and they are listed on there with measurements. If you would be so kind to look at them and give me any additional information, or suggestions as to where to continue my search I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you very much and I will be looking forward to hearing what everyone thinks...

Hello and welcome. I wish I could give you a positive ID but I can't. The pattern is reminiscent of Brockwitz "Kopenhagen" but there are certain elements in yours that are not in the Brockwitz design.
Hopefully someone else will come along and give you some info - until then I'll keep looking and see what I can find.

Glen... Thank you for looking and hopefully someone will come along that can help further... BTW, this is Jesse from the US, you helpled me with my Sowerby Figural and Float Bowl a couple of months back on Ebay US....

Jesse (http://www.smileys.ws/smls/action/00000030.gif) Great to talk again. I only wish I could have swept in and instantly identified your lovely glass. (http://www.websmileys.com/sm/crazy/1196.gif) It would have given me a much better entrance. Never mind - I'm sure someone will come along and help put another piece in the jigsaw puzzle.
Fingers crossed .........

Could be Radeberg and Walther as well :?
I agree with Glen on her first sight Brockwitz Kopenhagen - but in fact it is not
Glen, do you agree please: the problem are the stars missing ?
-
Pamela - it's the intervening panels and the base that look wrong to me. It's like it....yet not.
I'm hoping Mr Vaseline Glass may come along and see it.
Otherwise we keep looking

It appears that the plot thickens and more possible makers to research... I appreciate all of the valuable information that you are sharing with me everyone...

Really short on time Pamela.....I'm dashing to the computer (we have guests). I will write more tomorrow.

Jesse, more photos of the bottom could help!

I will take some this evening and add them to the same link...

I wish I could help, but these berry bowls are a mystery to me.

Ok, I appreciate it... Now I'm wandering if these are american? or what??? Maybe if I could narrow the origin down, then it might be easier to identify maker... Any thoughts on this new angle...

Jesse, what is the base like underneath? I can't tell from your photos - is there an actual marie / collar base? Or is there a ground flat rim?
I too was wondering if they might possibly be American. I have been hunting through a bunch of archive/books etc., but I can't match up your piece exactly.
Still looking.........
