Hello!
I'm hoping someone has seen this style of vase and recognizes the maker. It's about 9" tall and very nice, clear glass with a ground and finished bottom. Doesn't seem to be a run of the mill piece.
Any help most appreciated,
Kelli

I would think more Czech than Swedish; I have seen similar things from Bohemia at Svetla na Sazavou (except that was cut-to-clear) and from Bohemia at Podebrady. It could also have been made at the other side of the border, in southern Poland...

Is it just me, or does look a little like my 'Rogaska' bowl do you think? http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/albums/userpics/10048/normal_Rogaska_bowl.jpg

Really does, too. Is yours marked, Leni? Most Rogaska has a little acid etch stamp on the bottom....

No acid etching, Ivo, but it has a little bit of label left : http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/albums/userpics/10048/Rogaska%7E0.jpg

Thanks, Ivo and Leni, it sure does resemble the pattern on your vase. And from one I can see in your photo, the bottom finishing looks the same as well.
Mine is not marked that I can find, either.
Thanks very much for the leads, I will look further in the Polish direction. :)
Have a great Monday!
