Title: Pāte de Verre and the method of making
Post by: flying free on January 25, 2013, 10:30:10 PM
Every so often I look up Pāte de Verre for some reason or another.  Each time I find myself at this website.  It is has a great section on how Pāte de Verre is made, with step by step visuals.  The finished vase they show is superb. Just thought I'd share :)

Broadfield House Museum used to have a great collection of French pate de vere. contemporary pate de verre from Japan is amazing.

It's absolutely gorgeous and  reminds me of an Emile Galle marquetrie cameo vase.
