Title: Blue vases Scandinavian?
Post by: palo400 on July 19, 2010, 05:47:26 PM
Hello

Little and large blue glass vases the large one has a the remains of a label which says "Foreign" (narrows in down)

Large one is 30.5cm high the little one is 19.5cm high.
Look very Scandinavian.
Thanks.

If it's "Foreign," it's more likely to Japanese or German, post war sensibilities and all that.

I've had Hirschberg with the same label in the past - but then I don't think it's factory-specific, as I've also had it on some Schloßberg Keramik.

These are ringing a vague bell with me somewhere - perhaps a Stennett-Willson design for Wuidart?.
