Title: Help with identification please
Post by: tsl45 on July 07, 2006, 02:10:11 PM
Hello All

Has anyone any thoughts as to who may have made these two pieces.  Both pieces have unfortunately suffered some damage.  The bottle neck is broken and I am unsure as to how it would have ended, it measures 230mm in height and 100mm at its widest point.  The smaller vase is of a much heavier construction and measures 120mm in height and is again about 100mm at its widest point, the flanged lip is approximately 78mm in diameter, both pieces have concave bases and broken pontil marks.  Many thanks in advance for any ones help with this request regards Tim

Round vase base looks as if it has a crack running through it, I'm afraid. :(
