Title: Monart or Strathearn?
Post by: SophieB on November 08, 2011, 11:55:55 AM
Hi all,

Despite the assurance of provenance by the seller, this weight looks like a standard Strathearn to me. What do people think?

One has to ask what "providence"?

I have asked that question of the seller - before I checked the latest GMB threads.

It turns out that I know the seller via previous eBay and email communications. I can assure everyone that the description given was based truthfully on information from the previous owner's own notes. But I believe that the original notes probably referred to a different weight.
