Title: Pink Pressed Glass Dish Like Manhattan But Not
Post by: Connie on November 27, 2005, 05:03:39 PM
I have not been able to identify this pressed glass dish.  If it is American, I can't find it!  It looks like Manhattan at first glance but Manhattan has uninterrupted ribs and different handles.

  The bowl  (http://www.glassmavenhaven.com/connie/pinkrib1.JPG)

A cream soup??  It is 5.75 inches wide and 2 inches deep.

I posted it on the AB forums and no one there knew either.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Connie
not sure if you saw my post last night on the Haul Forum, but this bowl is pictured on page 204 of Hazel Marie Weatherman's Colored Glassware of the Depression Era VOLUME ONE, and she attributes it to Hocking, tho she doesnt mention a pattern name :?:
