Hi:
So behind on my glass items here to post.....here is a Czech frosted/clear perfume bottle with stopper. Has the label on it. Any idea on the age it was made...or newer?? Thanks for any info on the item. It is about 7 inches tall. It is a gold foil label with black writing on it.

According to Marcus Newhall's "Sklo Union: Art Before Industry", that Skloexport label was used in the 70s and 80s. Apparently these bottles are still being made: http://www.alibaba.com/product-free/114793700/Clear_Perfume_Bottle.html
My guess is that it was made at Jablonec. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Do we know if the Bohemia Glass label equates to Riedel or not?

I'm sorry, Anne... I don't think I understand your question. Are you asking if the Bohemia Glassexport label appeared on items from Jablonecke Sklarny?

So is this a new copy? Or from 1908 (which I do not think......but from an old original mold??)
Was not sure as I thought this was the same foil label that was on my cut lens yellow vase. Will have to take a closer look at the labels as I thought (IMHO) they looked the same...but I think I need new glasses.......LOL
ADDED: Checked it out and the label shape is the same but this ones the writing is in black. While on this item Bohemian Len vase here (http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,34834.msg188582.html#msg188582) it is in Silver writing

No, sorry Anik, what I was pondering was whether the Bohemia Glassexport label was used on Riedel items, given the comment on the page about the ones still being made by Jan Fucik in Prague are "Handmade in Czechoslovakia (original Riedel Moulds)." If the moulds were originally Riedel, then what I was asking was, did Riedel use the Bohemia Glassexport label or not?

Ah, I see (I think).
I'd say 'no' considering Riedel property was confiscated and nationalised after the war, and molds were used by Jablonecke Sklarny (later Desna). Only these post-war national companies would have used the glassexport label. (At least, that's how my brain understands it.)
I suppose it's safe to say that this particular bottle (above) is an early 20th century Riedel design, made by Jablonecke in the 1970s or 1980s.

I've found a ref picture in my folder or a similar perfume bottle, in a frosted peacock blue colour, with the same stopper. The base is the same shape but instead of having the slightly spiralled base, this one has horizontal stepping. It was listed as Bohemia Crystal. Probably from eBay, but I didn't make a note of that.
