Title: Fish and fowl, but who made them?
Post by: Lustrousstone on December 23, 2005, 08:55:43 PM
A duck in turquoise glass cased with controlled-bubble uranium glass, clear head, wings and tail. 8 inches tall

And a neodymium angel fish. 6 inches tall

Any one have any idea who made them? They both have identical (apart from the colour)  and quite distinctive bases - see the pictures. I also found a cockerel with the same base, but he didn't have anything interesting, such as neodymium or uranium, so he stayed behind

I really should be wrapping Christmas presents, but at least there's still tomorrow!

A very Happy Christmas and New Year to everyone

They look Murano to me, the base looks similar to a Murano style bird that I own.  :)

No help on the maker though sorry.  :)

I think generic Murano and difficult to pin down to one particular maker.

I just bought a cockerel with the same base as these and Tigerchips'. Did you ever pin down a maker?
