Hi , I have this Jobling's Opalique Fish.
Measures
17.5 cm width
6 cm High
Is this the same fish which is part of an ashtray or is it a figurine produced by Jobling ?
It has an early mark on the base in script , Jobling's Opalique Reg App for

Hi Dave,
Your fish is a standalone figurine, the fish that was also available mounted on the ashtray is smaller and has a more upright tail.
Yours is no. 10100, shown on p.9 of Jobling's 1934 trade catalogue. It's a lovely item - if you're interested in selling, please let me know.
