I don't usually dabble in paperweights, but I would have been silly to bypass these ten PP weights, with original display sign.
I've been told that they should date to the late 1960s / early 1970s, coming from a defunct shop that closed around then, but I've literally no idea. Every design bears the same label.

Sorry, bit of transposition there with the dates - late 80s / early 90s is what it should have read.

All look like general range, shown here but incomplete as yet....

Nice to get such a group with the retailers sign.... any papers with them?
-
Aye, there's nothing terribly exciting in amongst them. No paperwork for them, sadly - although there was a box for a ltd. edition S. Drysdale paperweight from 1987... but no paperweight!
::)
If you need photos of any of the weights, or one of the sign, for Scotland's Glass then let me know and I can forward some higher-res images once I figure out how to light them damned things without getting glare.

In a bowl of water for the top shots - but then the labels...

Oh, excellent tip. The labels should survive as long as it's just a quick plunge and I dab them dry.
