Title: Fratelli Toso Apple ??? Label Problem

A friend of mine bought this as part of an exchange for a chandelier that you all kindly identified for him. He was told it is Venini but the label looks like FT to me.

Looking at the FT labels here and in Fossilfly it is a little different. The label here says MURANO GLASS around the edge and Made in Italy in the middle. This one has MADE IN ITALY around the edge and MURANO in the middle.

I understand FTused many different labels is this an FT label or something else? If it is FT then maybe it should be in the label library.

The label is a generic one. It isn't Fratelli Toso, just a similar color.

Thanks Anita - don't think I will tell him that. He has (in his own mind) slipped from Venini to FT. If he finds out he is in the generic world I fear for his sanity and maybe his life.  ::)

Not to worry, Ardy. Having this type of generic label doesn't mean anything. They are often put on by shop keepers. The apple could still be made by one of the better companies. I don't know who it is, but the answer may be out there.
