Title: Uranium Glass Vase
Post by: ginfor on April 25, 2006, 06:19:16 AM
While I'm at it, I may as well keep asking about pieces.  This vase is a strong uranium formula, and my guess is English or Bohemian.  It has an applied ring around the rim with the droplets coming down.  Definite age wear and a very strong reaction to blacklight.

Black spots are just some dirt.

Seems unlikely at this point after so many views and no result.  Sold it this week anyway, but there's always future reference or being able to pass info to the buyer.

I would have said not English but probably European. Colour is reminiscent of Bagley but it's not Bagley. Other bits of uranium glass keep turning up in this bluish green but no id yet
