Title: Imperial Glass Clear/Gold 973 Candy Box -- Need Help
Post by: ks85 on August 07, 2012, 03:37:08 AM
Hi I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this Imperial candy box.

Having, the sticker I had assumed it would be an easy one to locate.   However, after much searching, I haven't been able to locate another piece in the same pattern and colors....in any shape, let alone this one.

I first thought the "973" was  the shape number, but after looking at Replacements ltd I believe it is the pattern number/name.  I'm still confused and not 100% certain though.

here is a link to their listings of "973"

http://search.replacements.com/texis/search/main.html?query=imperial+973&pr=Meta_20120730&mode=&dropXSL=html&order=ClientCount-d&submit.x=0&submit.y=0

Any help would be very appreciated.   Thanks for looking.

Seems to be a reproduction range

Thanks for the reply Lustrousstone.
I have been able to find the same shape in both green and clear.  But I haven't been able to find the same thumbprint type design in clear&gold on any items.  I didn't know it was a remake of a 19th century piece though.
