Hello, I came across this bud vase (at least I think that's what it is) at a flea market and really liked the look of it. I soon started wondering what kind of glass it was since there was no makers mark or sticker on it. Can someone help me out with identifying it please? Thanks!

I do not know. Is the base ground flat and the center of the base ground into a dome, or is the base just fire polished? From the photo it seems to be only fire polished making this something mass produced.

Sorry it took so long to answer but I don't know much about glass and had to look up "fire polished". From what I can tell, the base is fire polished. Thank you for taking the time to answer!

I doubt the base is fire polished. Fire polishing is generally only applied to rims and pontil marks on hand blown items. This looks machine blown and the base will be just "as formed" without any finishing. Any marks are artefacts of cooling.

My punt is SKLO from Bohemia or perhaps a German piece.

I had a good look for this and the nearest is a SKLO four segment vase in clear glass, it reminds me of that french vase that appears in every charity shop red on clear

in pink marked france think it looks very similar

Sklo is an unhelpful term because it just means glass. It might be Sklo Union, which made pressed glass in Czechoslovkia, but it is not "the" ubiquitous French vase because the colour is wrong and the French vase is effectively three-sided.
