Hi Lily,
It certainly looks like Perthshire to me, it has all the attributes. Or could be a Peter Macdougall weight he formally worked at Perthshire I believe.
Nice one!. Check out Ebay as well using the above as a guide.

it's a PP61 made 1983-1985, the one you have is 1983

Correct. Perthshire PP61 design; however, this series was made between 1983 and 1988, with three different millefiori set-ups. In addition to the star cluster, there was a set-up with millefiori loops. In 1986 a simpler ring of canes on a red ground was made. The other two designs had blue grounds.

Wow!  I am so pleased with the feedback on this post! ':D'   Thank you Ray, Bryn, and THX1138 for sharing.  This little Perthshire was a lucky find for me as I bought it locally and the seller was willing to "deal".  Now I can write down the really important details instead of just "nice Perthshire".
