Title: Salvador Ysart - Henderson decanter
Post by: Gary on November 23, 2011, 08:25:41 PM
A little bit of information from the Monart archives after my visit to Perth museum. Looking through the sketched Monart catalogues I came across this sketch for the shape FJ, which is very similar to the Henderson decanter. Gary http://www.ysartglass.com/Ysart/YsartSpecial.htm

Nice find, bizarre that it was made and a completely different shape designated FJ in the catalogue. Could you read the text on the drawing?

This is the text. The preceding page of the catalogue had the sketch of the normal FJ shape vase. Gary

Never sold but obviously at least one made! Can't make out that signature. Date is interesting too!
