Glen I found one of your articles and thought Riihimaki Kaaro might be a possiblity, what do you think? http://www.geocities.com/carni_glass_uk_2000/RemarkableRiihimaki.html

Hi Christine - gosh I wish I could answer you with certainty. I've looked at the single page that I have of the Kaaro pattern suite (it is the one I have posted on that web page). The comport shown there is not exactly like yours (the stem is different). I haven't seen any other shapes besides those that are on that catalogue page.
It seems to me that the top of the diamond shapes actually meet and close the diamond on the Kaaro pattern - whereas the tops of the diamond shapes on your sugar are open (small gap).
I promise I will keep looking :D

Thank you. It's so hard to tell anything from a small scan, but I had noticed the slight stem difference

Attached pix now, although the links do work; it's just the thumbnails that have gone. (Mod: Fixed)[color]
Any one any ideas?
