Title: Help needed to identify glass pieces
Post by: dshell74 on August 02, 2006, 01:36:50 AM
In this pic, the funky shaped pink dish and the yellow plates (or any of the pieces, lol):

In this pic, the three items in the front...the arched-edge creamer and the pinkish sugar & creamer:

Thanks!!

I can see a "Lustre and Clear" pattern Carnival glass jug which is thought to be by Imperial Glass.

The wee jug with the "panelled" sides looks like "Chippendale", but ask Anne - she's the Chippendale lady!

Not Chippendale, the bottom part and the handle is wrong. The bottom has extra shaping between the panels whereas Chippendale doesn't. Also, Chippendale handles are either the characteristic squared off ones or smoothly curved ones, they don't have a bumpy bit in them as this one does. It's a variation of the Chippendale style, but I've no idea who by.

Thanks, Anne!
I did notice those bits, which is why I thought you would be the right person to ask!  8)
