Title: Aqua and green Murano dish
Post by: poppyparker on September 05, 2011, 05:04:37 PM
Hello everyone!

Can this be confirmed as Murano please?  And looking at the base, is it a quality piece or something rushed off for tourists?

Many thanks  :sun:

I know Cenedese something similar to these... usually with panel-cut sides... but then so too did Oball quite recently if memory serves.

I believe it is Murano - I remember in the 70s they were often called oyster dishes/bowls because thone of the two bases made them very like an open oyster.
