Title: pressed glass sugar and creamer
Post by: redheat4 on August 23, 2008, 09:03:06 AM
:hiclp:Hi all, can anyone help with the pattern name for these couple of pieces and any possible maker. The sugar bowl has a great deal of wear but the creamer has not, so may be from different periods.

These are Brockwitz pieces ~ (Germany). The pattern is known to Carnival Glass collectors as Curved Star. It's a well known pattern in Carnival. Brockwitz originally called it ZURICH. It was in production over several decades. In pressed red like yours circa 1920-30.

Glen

For an article about the pattern and to see examples in Carnival.
