Title: Sklo union vase?
Post by: BJB on July 27, 2008, 01:53:06 PM
Hi,

I have this vase which is very heavy and very thick glass. Down three sides there is frosted decoration, which looks to me like a totem pole   :)

The rest is ribbed and the base is star cut.

Could it be a Sklo Union one?

Hi Barbara,
The cut and polished rim of your vase says Sklo Union is not the maker of your vase. Possibly Peill and Putzler, but they are often marked.

Hi Marcus,

It was a bit of a long shot, it is a lovely vase though.

Is it Art Deco or later?
