Post by: Cazza on June 02, 2010, 02:29:59 PM
Hi can anyone give me some more info on this, i have found a vase it has a signature which i believe is Bengt Edenfalk, there is also an acid etched mark for Scruf, can anyone give me an idea of the date. The vase is a crystal cut vase. Marked EK8  2-2

Today's date? >:D

Sorry, couldn't resist. ;D

Here's an example of an Edenfalk signature: http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-11788
There can be plenty of variation, depends on who is doing the signing at the factory.

Can't help with a date as I don't have all my books here at present and a photo may well be needed.

Good luck if you decide to bid, these are the only cut designs I have owned from Edenfalk and Skruf and they are great:

The vase is more kind of knobbley, it has triangular bits in 2 rows at the bottom going around the vase, not sure how to describe, its not cut like those ones you have put on here its a nice vase tho
