Title: Likely Scandinavian small engraved bowl with antelope - Signed/numbered Base..?
Post by: Greg. on November 02, 2012, 12:52:11 PM
I'm reasonably confident this small clear engraved bowl is Scandinavian in origin. The front has an engraved scene of a jumping antelope. The base is also engraved, which look like initials, followed by a numbered code and what looks to be the year 61. Measures 3 inches tall to the front and 3 inches wide. All thoughts welcome, much appreciated.

Orrefors designed by John Selbing probably pre 1973 when he stopped designing for them acording to Ann MArie Herlitz-Gezelius book on Orrefors.

I looked and looked at it, Greg.
I didn't think it was quite right for Caithness.  I'm glad I stayed quiet.  ;)
