Can't help with the id, but Toreador only has one r in it.
Somebody searching for "Toreador" might miss your listing.

I knew i should have put matadors hat but was on the claret at the time and my pal lives in Torregentile so thats my excuse , thanks anyway . jp
-
No id yet but all the bidders are Loetz buyers from overseas . :-\
-
Seems like it will find it's own price without an id. 8)

I am really more interested about ID ying Czech glass something i have missed out over the years , a percentage of this one is going to a charity shop where it came from but they dont know yet . i have several books on Czech glass but just cant get the hang of it and that bugs me . :( >:( ???

I ain't got the hang of it either, although something about the shape of this doesn't say Kralik or Loetz to me - it a fairly "traditional" sort of shape, I find myself wondering if it could be American or French or Belgian.....
-
sait on jamais !!!!! ;D
-
My school french doesn't cover more than le chat et assis sur le mat.
-
It could be Heckert. Have you looked through Crag's site for shape and/or decor? http://www.kralik-glass.com/
-
Some of these Heckert Silberband decors look similar...

I thought it looked a bit like Aquagold.

It's the shape that worries me. It's just too ordinary.
-
Well the Heckert finish looks the nearest to me . whatever thanks guys and gals , i will ask whoever wins it , they may tell some do others dont .
-
Here is a close up of a bit of Silberband.
-
I don't know but looking at the variations I agree with Sue that it looks closest to Aquagold. It's quite difficult to tell from your photos though John. You need one that is taken in the same way as the ones on the site. So on a white background with the decor finish showing clearly. I think it is possibly Kralik but it has similarities with these silberband Fritz Heckert vases as well
http://www.kralik-glass.com/kraliksbshapes.html#thumb (I hope that link works :-\) Also your 'ribbons' look slightly wider and seem to have an'outline' around them in your pictures. It isn't quite the same but whether that is relevant or not I don't know. It just doesn't look quite as though it fits in.
I'll have a look through and see if the shape matches somewhere

Nice site M still not sure but i do have the one 14 down the left hand side that i thought was Loetz , so cheers . jp :)

Hi M its not an outline its just where the different bands join it reflects on the photo giving that impession , there is no line at all just a ghost .
