Never seen that particular colourway before but two things point it to being a pre war piece. The white inner was only used in the main in the pre war production of Monart also the pontil finish is indicative of the pre war period.

Yip i agree Gary it is defo pre-war its just the colourway that is very unusal, might not be everyones taste but i love it, makes a change from some of the normal colours, im looking to see if anyone else has came across this colourway in Monart before??? Frank if your out there your opinion would be nice

Seen similar before. I have always assumed that these were the original used colours before they started casing and then they started going brighter. Probably more dramatic because of the rarity. At the time the newer colours must have seemed a dramatic change.

yeah ive seen similar just not exact, remember the lamp i had frank with the tortoise shell colourway,
