I purchased this fazzoletto vase today at an antique store. It is GIGANTIC, the biggest one I've ever seen. Has a rough pontil, and quality is pretty nice. I'm hoping someone can assist me in identifying the maker and vintage.
Thanks,
Charles.

Base shot???...

Size ???

I bought this massive handkie vase fron TKMaxx a few years ago - it's Tarnowiec. I don't know if that helps or not.
I use it as a wastepaper bin in the downsairs loo. It's a good use for something this big. (I've left the inside of a toilet roll inside it, to show the size.)

24 cm/9.5 inches. Here's the requested base shot. I'm certain it is not Polish or Chinese. It's genuine Murano and most likely from the 1950s or 1960s, although it's true they've been doing these sorts of pieces pretty much constantly from the 1950s to the present. My fear is that there's no way to definitively prove it's by A. Toso, Barovier, Seguso (etc. etc.). Not signed, so I'm assuming it cannot be Venini.

;D
Mine's bigger than yours, though!

I believe it is Murano as well. A very nice vase. :sun:

Has anyone seen a huge piece like this in this style before? As this confuses me. Definitley my style, Salviati, B&T?

As for many other pieces an exact name is impossible to tell.
It reminds me Dino Tagliapietra glassworks. More '70s and '80s productions, anyway.
Ciao
Alex
