Is this part set Walther Roland please? That's my tentative diagnosis.
-
Pamela's 1933 Walther catalogue shows one of the Roland trinket set pots and perfume bottles here: LINK (http://www.glas-musterbuch.de/Walther-1933.34+B6YmFja1BJRD0zNCZwcm9kdWN0SUQ9MTM2MCZwaWRfcHJvZHVjdD0zNCZkZXRhaWw9.0.html) - they are more angular than this.
There's another powder pot shown on Chris Stewart's Cloud Glass site as Walther Roland which is nothing like it either: http://www.cloudglass.com/walpots.htm (I have this in clear too - it's very Chippendale-like as are many of the Roland range.)
The pots you show above are similar to but not the same as Inwald's Lord trinket set see example here: LINK (http://www.glasstrinketsets.com/cms15/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=219&Itemid=178) Marcus couldn't pin them down when we searched for them a couple of years back. They come in the usual colours and clear (I have pink, clear and something else I think.) T'other Anne has one in green too LINK (http://www.glasstrinketsets.com/cms15/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=206:mystery-set-50&catid=28:mysteries&Itemid=52) - mine aren't there yet.
The candlesticks you show look like Walther Mary... see on Pamela's site: http://www.pressglas-pavillon.de/kerzenhalter/00769.html
The tray might be Walther Roland, I'm honestly not sure. :-\
-
They all came together and they all matched. The Mary candlesticks are taller. I'll keep looking.
What I can't remember is whether I gave them to you or not
-
I have puzzled for hours over these sets, I feel there may have been a mix and match type system going on with Walther and some of the sets. So pick your own Roland tray and add certain types of sticks and pots maybe?
There appear to be two types of Mary candlesticks 1936 and 1937. I can't find the catalogue link for 1936 any more, but Anne mentioned Pamela's example above,
http://www.pressglas-pavillon.de/kerzenhalter/00769.html
and here is the link to 1937.
http://www.glas-musterbuch.de/Walther-1937.76+B6YmFja1BJRD03NiZwcm9kdWN0SUQ9MzE0NCZwaWRfcHJvZHVjdD03NiZkZXRhaWw9.0.html
I have pictured my Mary candlesticks below, they measure 15.5 cm and 17.5cm tall.
I have seen the same pink set as yours listed on Ebay Christine, but with the 1936 candlesticks, also a green set with 1936 candlesticks and 2 decanters.
I've also seen a Frosted Pink and Frosted Blue set with the 1936 candlesticks, but with an oval tray, the oval tray has the same type of scalloped edge as your tray.
In fact I have my own set with the oval tray and pots in clear (actually I have 3 trays goodness knows why :-[) and yet it doesn't appear to match the catalogue sizes for a Roland oval tray, although the pattern matches and the glass is also quite thin and lightweight not much like the glass in either of the Mary candlesticks in my pics 1 and 2, but that could be my imagination.
There is an entry for a Mary Pot in the 1937 catalogue

I've seen another type of Mary pot in a catalogue somewhere also, but for the moment it evades me, and it's not like yours or my pots.
Also an entry for the Roland flat lidded pot as mentioned by Anne in Cloud glass, in the 1933 catalogue named as a Powder Pot
http://www.glas-musterbuch.de/Walther-1933.34+B6YmFja1BJRD0zNCZwcm9kdWN0SUQ9MTIzNSZwaWRfcHJvZHVjdD0zNCZkZXRhaWw9.0.html
Also the tray that looks like yours in the 1933 catalogue
http://www.glas-musterbuch.de/Walther-1933.34+B6YmFja1BJRD0zNCZwcm9kdWN0SUQ9MTI2NCZwaWRfcHJvZHVjdD0zNCZkZXRhaWw9.0.html
comes in 3 sizes, do you know the measurements of yours?

To add some more clarity (or confusion) here is a pic of my Mary Candlestick with the tray I found it with.
I have seen several Ebay listings of this set as Mary, although I cannot find the tray in a catalogue. However it is the same tray shape as Walther Poseidon, the Poseidon candlesticks and pots are also (almost) the same shape but with different markings.

Would you be Lustroustone on Ebay Christine?
I noticed 2 listings for Walther Mary items.

I'm the only one (as one word!)
-
So it looks like you have accepted my theory that the sticks and pots are Walther Mary Christine.
-
The ones on ebay are different to the original ones I posted, I think: the sticks certainly are and I believe the pots might not be the same pair either. Too much rubbish too many boxes. I may have given the ones I posted to Anne.
-
I think you did Christine... but everything's boxed away whilst I've been sorting other stuff out - I'll see if I can dig them out and check sometime next week.
-
Aren't the pots in the first post of this thread, from Christine, the same pattern as those shown on Anne's GTS site as Mystery Set 50?
