hi again could this be welz Spiraloptisch rose bowl
thanks

Hi Stew
It doesn't look like a Welz Spiraloptisch to me, the pattern isn't the same. That's not to say that it may not turn out to be a Welz piece, if they were doing these patterned iridescent pieces, but I just don't think it is that. If you look at the pieces on Kralik.com the patterning is very specific to all of them.
I've added a link to a curious patterned iridescent Bohemian? vase I own, which currently also has no id.

No, because it hasn't got the circles. I'll look later. Almost certainly Bohemian though

hi thanks for that
i have it on ebay at the moment and had an email saying they thought it was welz. plenty watching it thought someone might identify the metal frog as its quite different.
thanks again for looking

The metal frog isn't a really a clue, as metal fittings were not usually applied by the glass manufacturers.

thanks christine
i remember now, going to caithness glass and they were making a bowl he had the wire 'frog' and was working the glass to its size so anyone could have made it. probably the same here
